Marine turtle breeding programme:
The Ocean Coral & Turquesa hotel is located in the National Sea Park of Puerto Morelos and participates actively in a programme for sponsoring baby Marine turtles, carefully preparing the hotel’s beaches to welcome this marine species. The hotel has an area with a capacity for 200 nests and 30 portable nests, with personnel trained in environmental orientation for our clients.

Moreover, the Ocean Coral & Turquesa also has an exclusive Daisy children’s awareness-raising programme from May to November, coinciding with the arrival of most of the turtles at the beaches in the area. With this programme the children can see the different stages of development of the turtle. Furthermore, the children will be given a “birth certificate” for collaborating in the programme of releasing the baby turtles into the water when they are born.
