Trip Itinerary
Day 1: Cancun/Riviera Maya – Caverns – Tulum – Coba – Chetumal
From Cancun we will take you to visit caverns with stalactites/cenotes known as “the eyes of the earth”. This is a fantastic place to swim, dive or snorkel. After that, we will go to Tulum, an ancient Mayan city with its impressive archaeological zone right in front of the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Later, we will go to Coba, another very interesting Mayan ancient city, immersed into the jungle. Bicycle city tour. Arrival to Chetumal, the city of pirates.
Day 2: Chetumal – Kohunlich and Chicanna – Palenque
Journey by the ancient route of the Rio Bec, visiting two very interesting archaeological sites: Kohunlich a Mayan city, located in the region of the Rio Bec, very close to the border between Mexico and Belize; and Chicanna located in the south of the Campeche state. Arrival to Palenque.
Day 3: Palenque – Campeche
This day we will visit the archaeological site of Palenque, one of the most magnificent places of the Mayan civilization. This City-Gallery contains the stone portraits of the priests and of the emperor Pakal II, as well as a dynasty chronicle, the temple of the Sun and the Cross, “spaceman” image on the wall of the emperor Pakal sarcophagus. This enigmatic city is deep inside the jungle of Chiapas surrounded by lianas. Arrival to the city-port of Campeche. This colonial city is located on the Gulf of Mexico. It is known for its preserved baroque colonial buildings, military architecture, and walled historic district.
The city keeps many of the old colonial Spanish city walls and fortifications which protected the city from pirates and buccaneers. The state of preservation and quality of its architecture earned it the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. The city tour of Campeche.

Day 4: Campeche – Chichen Itza – Cenote – Cancun/Riviera Maya
In the morning, departure from Campeche to Chichen-Itza, one of the 7 New World Wonders, considered by many people the worthiest representative of the Mayan culture. The magicians, scientists, and the ball players, only the selected ones were able to access to this special landscape of white stone and to the “eyes of the earth”, the cenotes. Its magnificent temples, considered a belonging to the classical and post-classical of Mexico, did not see the arrival of the Spanish colonizers because were abandoned by its people due to unknown reasons. Will see the Pyramid of Kukulkan, “the feathered serpent”, the ball games court, the Observatory and more. After that, we will continue to the cenote Ik-Kil where you will have the opportunity to swim. Arrival to Cancun or Riviera Maya.
